Description : Inter House English Debate, Elocution and Recitation competition at VVPS
An activity organized at VVPS to enhance the speaking skills of the students. For classes Pre-Nursery to 3rd it was recitation and for classes 4th and 5th –Elocution. Topics ---DISCIPLINE, ELDERS AND TEACHERS RESPECT, JUNK FOOD, CLEANLINESS & SAFETY RULES
The students showed their class by presenting their respective topics in an outstanding manner. The recitation by little ones was fantastic as they presented different poems in different get ups.
The debate topic for classes 6 to 8 --- Television makes people violent and lazy.
The students put up their views brilliantly both for and against the motion. It was an eye opener for those who spend their most of the time watching television.
The debate topic for classes 9 to 12 – A college degree is essential to get success in life.
Students presented their views authentically and the oratory skill is worth appreciating, proving that they have developed their art of speaking over the years in VVPS.
The Principal Mrs. Nalini Singh was overwhelmed with the performances of the students. She praised one and all for their effort to make the activity a success.
