Description : Health checkup and Medical Awareness Program at Vashisth Vatsalya Public School
A two days health checkup and medical awareness program was organized at VVPS on 5th and 6th February.
A team of doctors from SRN from dept. of dental surgery, MD eye & Gen. Surgery were in the school to conduct health checkup of the students. The team comprised of these doctors (Dental) Dr. Sonika Yadav, Dr. Ashutosh Chaudhri,
Dr. A. P. Singh, (Eye) Dr. Upasana Singh, Dr. A.K. Maurya, (Gen. Surgery) Dr. Suryabhan Kushwaha and Dr. Anshu Maurya. They also told the students how to look after their personal hygiene.
On 6th February a medical awareness program for parents was undertaken in which there were two dieticiansMr. Shashank Saxena, Miss Roshni & Chief Chef Sneha Saxena from Prayag Institute of Hotel Management.
Parents were told what type of food they should give to their children for their growth and fitness. They were also told How to cook the food to preserve its vitamins & other nutrients? The parents were also made aware about Corona Virus. They were also advised to keep their children away from Dairy products for the time being such as milk, meat, egg etc. and drink lot of water and increase the intake of Vitamin C. In the end the Principal Mrs. Nalini Singh thanked the doctors, dieticians, Chief Chef and parents for their participation.
